Agneepath Movie 1st Day Collection is 25 Crores

Hrithik Roshan's Agneepath which had hit the theaters on the 26th of January, had opened to a good response not just fro the audience but also from film critics, who are raving about the performances.

The opening day box office reports state that the film has surpassed the collections of Salman Khan's Bodyguard (22 crore) & Shahrukh Khan's Ra.One (18 crore) and has earned an amount of 25 crores.

Since the day was a national holiday on the occasion of Republic Day the theater owners claim a 90 to 95% occupancy.

Hrithik who had played the role of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan was extremely happy with the response and had tweeted, "WOW!!!! THANK u THANK u THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! Agneepath 1st day - 25cr!!!! My damaged bodyparts suddenly feel ALIVE, I feel like I can FLY now!!! Thank u people, I have the fuel now to make KRRISH EXPLODE!!!! (sic)"

The film was appreciated for the smart way of remaking the classic hot of 1990's which had the star Amitabh Bachchan playing the lad. Sanjay Dutt as Kancha Cheena and Risha Kapoor's role was mainly considered as the film's biggest strengths which helped for the film's successful opening.

Sanjay Dutt also tweeted, "I am overwhelmed with the response and support of everyone. Thank you for loving me so much."

The film, directed by debutant Karan Malhotra, and produced by Karan Johar, under the banner of Dharma Productions saw Priyanka Chopra as the female lead and the movie is turning to be a hit across all regions running successfully at theaters near you.
