Kareena Kapoor Lover Saif Ali Khan Arrested!

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was arrested by Mumbai police on Wednesday and later released on bail on providing surety.

The actor, who is also the Nawab of Pataudi, was arrested by the Mumbai Colaba police yesterday for assaulting a businessman in a Taj hotel in Mumbai.

On Tuesday, the actor, along with his friends, was having food at Wasabi, the Japanese restaurant at Taj Hotel in the city. It is learnt that the actor was having a business talk with his friends, and a heated argument escalated into a scuffle. The actor assaulted Iqbal Meeer Sharma, an Indian origin South African in that scuffle.

“I did it in self-defence. I can prove it. I regret that this happened. I always remained a law abiding citizen,” said Saif.

Another businessman Shakeel Ladak and film producer Bilal Amrohi were also arrested and along with Saif for their involvement in the scuffle.

The case is been investigated by the Colaba police.

Saif Ali Khan is in a relationship with Bollywood top star Kareena Kapur.
